Board-Certified Chiropractic Neurologist | Triple Fellowship-Trained Spine & Neurology Expert
Dr. David Lincoln is a highly credentialed expert in spine and neurologic disorders whose career reflects a singular belief: clinical excellence is a moving target, and true mastery requires continuous pursuit. Raised in Santa Rosa, California, he graduated with honors from Cardinal Newman High School before pursuing Pre-Medical studies at the University of California, Davis. What began as a path toward anesthesiology changed entirely when a debilitating back injury—and the chiropractic expertise that ultimately resolved it—revealed his true professional calling.
Dr. Lincoln earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life West Chiropractic College in 1999, graduating Magna Cum Laude with an additional certification in extremity treatment. Early in practice, he recognized that being a general chiropractor was not enough for the level of care he wanted to provide. His patients deserved the highest degree of diagnostic precision, evidence-based decision-making, and mastery in spine care. That conviction has driven more than two decades of rigorous post-doctoral education.
He became a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist in 2005 and a Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology in 2009. Building on that foundation, Dr. Lincoln pursued advanced expert training through continuing graduate medical education accredited by the SUNY Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, culminating in his distinction as California’s first Fellow in Primary Spine Care in 2023.
Continuing his commitment to elite-level training, Dr. Lincoln completed extensive radiology, trauma, and spine-care coursework recognized through ACCME joint providership, including:
In 2025, Dr. Lincoln achieved another historic milestone, becoming California’s first Fellow in Spinal Biomechanics and Trauma, completing the fellowship through SUNY Buffalo accredited coursework in collaboration with Cleveland University–Kansas City.
Across these fellowships and certifications, Dr. Lincoln has developed a uniquely comprehensive clinical profile: expertise in spine biomechanics, trauma triage, neurology, imaging interpretation, and collaborative medical integration.
But for Dr. Lincoln, credentials are not trophies—they are obligations. Every fellowship, certification, and hour of training reflect his core philosophy:
“My patients deserve the absolute best—and ‘better’ is something I must chase every single day.”
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Lincoln enjoys time with his wife and three children, along with hiking, sports, kayaking, and golf. These moments recharge him, yet his pursuit of deeper knowledge and clinical mastery remains constant—driving him to stay at the forefront of modern spine care for the benefit of every patient he serves.
Board Certified Chiropractor | Fellowship Candidate in Spine Management
Dr. Angela McQuillen, B.S., D.C., originally hails from Crescent City, CA, in Del Norte County. She earned her undergraduate degree at Humboldt State University, majoring in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science and Health Promotion. During her time at Humboldt, she developed a strong interest in biomechanics and human performance labs.
Following her graduation, she worked as a consultant in the Humboldt County Child Welfare Department for approximately three years. However, she eventually decided to pursue her passion for further education at Palmer College of Chiropractic West campus.
Dr. McQuillen’s journey into chiropractic care began when she experienced relief from her own lower back pain after recovering from knee surgery. This personal experience led her to pursue a doctorate degree in Chiropractic, with the goal of providing the same relief to her patients. She chose Palmer College of Chiropractic West campus in San Jose, CA, to remain in California and stay close to her extended family in the Bay Area.
During her time at Palmer, she interned in the radiology department and contributed to various radiographic studies. Outside the office, Dr. McQuillen enjoys gardening, biking, and spending time with her extensive extended family. She takes pride in her membership in the Yurok Tribe and values her strong family connections. Dr. McQuillen is delighted to be a part of the Primary Spine and Injury Center team, where she can offer knowledgeable chiropractic care to you and your loved ones. During her time here, she will be actively pursuing a fellowship to become an expert in Spinal Biomechanics and Trauma.
